Everything you need to know about TaskDwell

How long does setup take?

Less than 10 minutes! Simply answer a few questions about your home (square footage, age, HVAC type, etc.) and we'll create a personalized maintenance schedule. You can adjust any task or add custom ones in seconds. Most users complete setup during their first coffee break.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, absolutely! There are no contracts or commitments. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. If you cancel, you'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. The Free plan is always available if you want to downgrade instead of canceling.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is always yours. If you cancel, your account is deactivated but all your data remains safely stored for 90 days. You can reactivate anytime during this period and pick up right where you left off. After 90 days, you'll receive an email reminder before any data is permanently deleted. You can also export all your data (tasks, inventory, documents) at any time.

Do you integrate with my calendar?

Yes! TaskDwell works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and any other calendar app that supports ICS feeds. Simply copy your unique calendar link from settings and subscribe to it in your preferred calendar app. Tasks sync automatically, and you'll get reminders 3 days and 1 day before each task is due—right in your existing calendar workflow.

Can I track multiple homes?

Yes! The Free plan includes 1 home, the Pro plan supports up to 5 homes, and the Team plan includes unlimited homes. Each home has its own maintenance schedule, inventory, and calendar feed. This is perfect for managing vacation properties, rental properties, or helping family members maintain their homes. You can easily switch between homes from the dashboard.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. We use bank-level 256-bit encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Authentication is powered by Clerk, a trusted enterprise security platform. We never share your data with third parties, and all payment processing is handled securely through Stripe. Your documents and photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage with redundant backups.
