Your home is more than an expense.
It's where your life happens. TaskDwell spots what needs attention before it gets expensive — in plain language, built for homeowners who just want to stay ahead.
See What Your Home NeedsFor first-time homeowners learning what they don't know — and committed homeowners who want to stay ahead.
I don't hand you a 60-item checklist.
When you set up TaskDwell, I look at your home's profile and surface the three things that matter most right now. I explain why each one matters for your specific home. You handle them when you can. I'll surface more as I learn your home.
- 01
HVAC filter is about four months overdue.
Running inefficiently now; filter change is ten minutes and fifteen dollars, but ignoring it can cost thousands over time in compressor wear.
- 02
Water heater is approaching the end of its typical lifespan.
Twelve years old, no recent service records. Sediment buildup reduces efficiency, and a mid-use failure is messy and expensive. Worth a flush service now.
- 03
Gutters haven’t been cleaned since last spring.
Heading into rainy season. Clogged gutters are how small roof issues turn into foundation problems. Two hours of DIY, or a service call for about $150.
I explain, so you learn.
Every finding comes with the why, in plain language. Over months, you stop feeling overwhelmed by your own house — you start understanding it.
Your dishwasher is running longer than normal, which often means the spray arm is clogging up.
Thirty minutes and a bottle of cleaner usually fixes it. If it keeps happening, we're looking at a pump. I'll flag that if the pattern continues.
Your roof is thirteen years old, so it's in the second half of its typical life.
Not an emergency. But when you list the house someday, inspectors will flag it, and buyers will negotiate. I'll watch for specific signs — missing shingles, granule loss, ceiling stains.
Your home has a story.
The furnace that's been running since you moved in. The tree out back that drops leaves in your gutters every fall. The warranty you filed somewhere three years ago.
TaskDwell remembers, so you don't have to.
Document vault. Warranty tracking. Cost basis for tax time. Repair history per room. What I've learned about your home, surfaced as context for every new finding. The longer you use TaskDwell, the smarter it gets about your house specifically — not houses in general.
What TaskDwell sees in real homes
Real examples — the kind of thing that stays quiet until it costs you.
You just moved in. The water bill seems high. Is that normal?
TaskDwell cross-references your usage against typical homes of this size in your region. If there's a silent leak, we flag it with a diagnostic path. If it's just move-in normal, we tell you that too.
You don't know what an HVAC filter is, and you're not sure how often it needs changing.
That's fine. TaskDwell knows your system — make, model, install date. Filter reminders show up when they actually matter, with the exact filter size and where to buy it.
You've lived here ten years. You've done a lot of work. What's coming up?
Property Health shows what's been quiet (good baseline to keep), what patterns are emerging, and what components are entering their cost-risk window. No surprises at sale time.
Tax time. What did you spend on the house this year, and which items are improvements?
Every completed signal captures cost + category. Home office, energy credits, capital improvements that affect cost basis when you sell — all tagged automatically. Export a CSV for your CPA.

Common questions
How much work is it to set up?
About ten minutes. Answer a handful of questions about your home (age, square footage, HVAC type, a few features), and TaskDwell surfaces the three things that matter most. You can add inventory items and documents over time — there’s no "finish setup" screen.
What if I don't know the answer to a question about my house?
Skip it. TaskDwell works with whatever you know. If you don't know when the water heater was installed, it flags that as a data gap — once you find a serial number or an inspection report, you can add it and I'll sharpen the analysis.
Does this help with tax time?
Yes. The Homeowner plan categorizes completed maintenance items automatically (home office, energy credits, cost basis for future sale). Keep your receipts or photos in the document vault, export a CSV at tax time, hand it to your CPA or tax software.
How is this different from HomeZada, Dwellin, or a spreadsheet?
Those tools mostly track what you tell them. TaskDwell tells you what you're missing. Proactive findings, not a binder you have to maintain. If you stop checking the app, TaskDwell keeps watching.
What if I buy a rental property later?
You can upgrade to the Investor tier and bring your home with you. Or keep your home on Homeowner and add rental properties on a separate plan. Either works — your history travels with you.
Is my data secure?
256-bit encryption in transit and at rest. Authentication via Clerk. Payments via Stripe. Documents and photos in encrypted cloud storage with redundant backups. We don't sell or share your data.
Your home deserves more than reminders.
